INSTRUCTOR COURSES

IDC PREPARATION – 195€
On this 2 day course you get the chance to brush up on you academic and in-water skills ready for the IDC and becoming an instructor.

PADI ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR (AI) – 450€
The first part of the IDC (4 days), this course teaches you the PADI system of diver education. After qualifying as an Assistant Instructor you can join a PADI Dive Centre and work in the recreational diving industry around the world assisting PADI instructors and teaching limited diving courses yourself.

PADI ASSISTANT TO PADI INSTRUCTOR (OWSI) – 550€
As a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor you can conduct all the courses Padi has to offer from discover Scuba through to Divemaster. With this qualification you can travel the world working within PADI Dive Centre’s meeting other diving enthusiasts and have the opportunity to reach your goals.

INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE (IDC) – 900€
The complete PADI IDC course (9 days) is an intense program taught in a relaxed environment. Our PADI Course Director will guide you throughout the teaching process building your knowledge in diving theory and in-water skills as well as conducting presentations and preparing you for the Instructor Examination at the end of the course.

PADI EFR INSTRUCTOR – 250€
The Emergency First Response course is essential not just for the diving industry but for life in general. Once you become an EFR instructor you can use your teaching skills to build confidence in people to respond to medical emergencies.

PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER TRAINER (MSDT) – 500€
Once a qualified PADI instructor you can advance to an MSDT, this will set you above the standard instructor by showing commitment in PADI leadership and continuing to take students to higher levels in the recreational diving world.

PADI IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR – 550€
By becoming a PADI IDC Staff instructor you are now able to assist the Course Director in conducting IDC’s helping to bring the next generation of PADI instructors into a new way of life. And at the same time gaining even more experience and knowledge for yourself.
Internship courses are run over 4 months unless stated otherwise, the above rates include equipment and transport. The rates do not include course materials and PADI fees. We can also offer accommodation on request.

Sunset Beach..

Sunset beach is located approximately 20 mins from Malaga international airport the taxi could cost you around 26 euros, always check with the taxi driver first. Sunset beach hotel itself has been awarded the TripAdvisors “Certificate of Excellence” a quote from one of their guests was…
“I have been going here for many years so I thought it was time to write a review! The hotel has recently been renovated in certain areas and now has wifi in most areas. The hotel has great facilities, always clean and has a good entertainments team for adults and kids alike. Location is good with local bars and restaurants within walking distance and I would also recommend eating in the local marina. A lovely hotel and I certainly recommend a stay here.” Stayed August 2015.
The first dive location you will come across is directly in front of the hotel , metres away from “the Scuba Shack” it is shallow which means you can do the Discover scuba package, or it might be the beginnings of going well up the PADI ladder.
With the combination of a 4* hotel and a 5* Padi dive center you will be well on your way of discovering the underwater world.

La Herradura.

La Herradura is situated in the Costa Tropical in Granada, the Mediterranean here is at its best the waters are warm and visibility is exceptional on good days. The bay is nestled between two mountains, which keeps the winds down to a minimum. Flora and fauna is in abundance and resting in the sand beds are 25 Spanish navel galleons that were caught up in a storm in 1562, are waiting for the intrepid discoverer.
La Herradura Sub-aquatic Reserve, was conceived for the protection of the marine life and to bring to the area international visitors that would want to explore the sunken galleons the artificial reefs and fauna and fauna.

Gibraltar.

Don’t be in a hurry to put those passports away you’re going to be needing them to explore over 30 wrecks pinnacles and reefs, here at the entryway of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. The two forces joining together means you’re going to see a mass of colours, and marine life
For your look out list; bass, mullet, sunfish, octopus, congers and rays corals and excellent visibility, Seven sisters is a cluster of rocky pinnacles situated near the shore. Europa reef south of Gib, divers can discover reef diving and drop off cliffs. The currents can be strong in places but depending on your level of diving Qualification from beginners to the most qualified a dive can be found in Gibraltar.
