Wetsuits
Wetsuits are the one form of clothing that will make you look cool, even they you look uncool. With rare exception no-one looks attractive in a wetsuit, so just get used to it.
They work by trapping a thin layer of water next to your skin. This layer of air stays at a regular temperature and prevents you from becoming too cold on dives. The temperature of the water will affect the thickness of the wetsuit you will need
7mm which are ideal for cold waters
3mm suits or less which are suitable for tropic waters.
Modern 5mm suits and some combination suits will suit most conditions, and are an overall favourite with most divers.
Wetsuits come in a selection of different styles and sizes to suit your wants, needs and diving preferences and are available from top dive brands such as; Aqua Sphere, Aqualung, Mares, Northern Diver, Scubapro, Seac Sub and Waterproof.
